Situated within the grounds of Heatherlands Primary School we have two spacious rooms and the use of the school playgrounds and field, giving us plenty of space for a variety of fun activities.
Buddies After School Club
After a long day at school we understand that children sometimes just want to ‘chill.’ So once our experienced team members receive your Reception and Year 1 child/ren directly from their class room teacher and (Years 2 – 6) from our designated pick up point, we will provide them with a healthy nutritious snack and drink to give them an extra boost of energy.
‘Every Day is Different!’
At Buddies, we provide a wide variety of fun activities, many of these are suggested by the children themselves – we allow every child to have a voice in after school club. Activities such as crafting, cooking, messy play, role play with shows, board games, building and group games. As well as many outside games and activities. The children are also given the time to relax, and if they wish, do their homework.
Buddies isn’t just a place for the children to come after school; Buddies is also a club that the children join and feel a real sense of belonging..
This year the Buddies have chosen a different theme for every half term and our Buddies team have arranged activities around these themes.
Each child gains a different sticker each and every half term, the aim; to collect them all!
