At Sunbeams we have two large and airy classrooms, 2 smaller rooms and a fully enclosed outdoor play area. We also have full use, throughout the year, of the school grounds (timetable dependent) which includes a nature trail, pond area and wooden obstacle course.
Sunbeams offers a fun and creative environment where the interaction between children and staff is of primary importance. We offer stimulating activities both indoors and out to help nurture children’s natural curiosity to explore and learn.
Young children (particularly boys) develop their language much more freely and happily when they play outside. Children of all ages thrive best in an outdoor environment where they can feel free to run around and explore. They have less fear of breaking things, making too much noise or making a mess.
A messy child is a happy child!
