What a fun day we've had in Piglets, this morning we enjoyed using different construction tools to spread shaving foam onto foam bricks to make towers with, the Piglets made some really big towers and enjoyed counting the bricks in their towers. This activity encouraged lots of lovely vocabulary and helps the Piglets with counting to 10.
This afternoon we enjoyed playing with the babies, the Piglets decided to feed the babies in the highchairs and put the babies to sleep in the cots. The Piglets also dressed and undressed the babies which helps to develop their fine motor skills by doing the buttons and poppers up on the different items of clothing.
For snack we had french toast with butter (alternative: vitalite) or egg mayonnaise with a cup of milk, water or oat milk.
It's been a great day in Tiggers today, we explored a Wintery tuff tray filled with salt. The children used paintbrushes and their fingers to make a variety of different marks in the salt, we loved making different shaped snowflakes and tracing around the icy numbers. This activity was great for developing our fine motor skills. 🌟
In the garden this morning, we loved using shaving foam and construction blocks to build towers, we used the trowels to spread the shaving foam onto the bricks making really big towers. Well done Tiggers!

It's been a busy day in Tiggers today, the children explored the snowflake paint stampers on the craft table, we used a variety of Winter colours and the Tiggers dipped the different snowflake patterns in the paint. We then printed the patterns on our paper, making lots of beautiful Wintery pictures. Well done Tiggers. 🌟❄️
Other activities we have been exploring today have included, number and letter games on the interactive table, building and creating models using loose parts. We have also loved caring for the dolls in the baby role play and pretending to feed and dress them. Great imagination Tiggers! 🌟
For snack today we had oatcakes with soft cheese and slices of orange. We also had a cup of milk or water with snack.
Today in Piglets we've enjoyed painting junk modelling, the Piglets enjoyed choosing different colours to paint with as well as mixing the colours together and seeing the different colours they had made. This activity encouraged mathematical language including 'big' and 'small' as well as colour recognition.
The Piglets have also enjoyed connecting the train track together, creating different faces on the Mr. Potato Heads, playing 'Jumping Bean' at circle time, building with duplo and tipping and pouring with the oats.

Today in Piglets we've been celebrating 'Winnie the Pooh' day, this morning we used the scissors to cut the spaghetti this supported the Piglets scissor control, the Piglets also enjoyed using the tongs to move the spaghetti around the tray as well as making spaghetti cupcakes.
This afternoon the Piglets enjoyed using the bingo dabbers to decorate their 'Winnie the Pooh' pictures, the Piglets used a variety of different colours and enjoyed mixing the colours together and seeing what colours they could make.
Other activities we've enjoyed today have included building with wooden blocks, happyland, obstacle course in the garden, shape pattern boards and tumble tots after lunch.
For snack we had apple slices and orange segments with a cup of milk or water.
